When people lose one or more permanent teeth due to an illness, aging, or an accident, they may experience an inability to chew along with negative effects on their self esteem.

When patients experience the loss of their teeth, their dentist can return their beautiful smile through a Partial or Full Denture treatment that meets your needs both financially and aesthetically.

A full and partial denture provides the following advantages…improved speech, improved oral health, improved aesthetic appearance and improved chewing ability. The base of the denture is made of acrylic which fits comfortably over the gums. The tooth portion of a denture consists of ceramic  material to make them strong and durable.

Full And Partial Denture Treatment Process

As part of the process of creating your dentures, the dentist will take an impression of your jaw alignment and teeth and match the shape and color. For patients transitioning from failing teeth to dentures, temporary dentures will be provided.

For patients transitioning to a full denture, first, all remaining teeth are removed and the gums allowed to heal. Next, the denture is created. The process takes around 3 months to 1 year.

Partial dentures are bonded to a gum-colored base attached to a metal framework held in place by attaching to the natural teeth on either side of the empty space.
