At Sound Dentistry in Seattle, our goal is to protect and maintain the oral health of our patients. We show patients how to brush and floss their teeth properly and recommend getting a professional cleaning every 6 months. Doreen, our dental hygienist, uses special instruments to remove plaque and tartar in order to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Oral hygiene is crucial to the health and condition of your teeth, gums and mouth.

As part of our dental services, we also provide emergency care for knocked out teeth, fractured, cracked or chipped teeth, or a loose or misaligned tooth. If you experience any of these issues, please call our office right away and Dr. Nicolini will see you as soon as possible.

We also provide fluoride treatments to help strengthen teeth. Although fluoride is present in some of the foods we eat, fluoride treatments are necessary to ensure your teeth remain healthy. This treatment is safe for kids and adults.

Dental specialists are trained to perform different kinds of treatments. For example, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon can remove impacted teeth and perform jaw reconstruction. A periodontist, on the other hand, diagnoses and treats gum disease while an endodontist focuses on the inside of the tooth or the ‘root canal’. Dr. Nicolini will refer you to a specialist based on his diagnosis.
